Dr. Miriam Franco has conducted several pilot studies on the use of Relaxation and Guided Imagery to Reduce Anxiety and Injection Anxiety Associated with MS.  Here are several posters of her pilot in 2008 and a study she co-authored with Brant Oliver, RN, MSN, Ph.D. at MS Center of Dartmouth Hitchcock Hospital.

Dr. Miriam Franco has spoken with many healthcare providers and health organizations regarding how GI can be effective in working with Auto Immune Disorders, Coping with Chronic Pain Conditions, Relieving Carepartner Stress, and Improving Quality of Life.  Here are a number of powerpoint slides of her presentations at the Consortium of MS Centers meetings and at other professional organizations.
